Koraput: Jeypore Sadar police on Saturday arrested three persons in connection with the loot from a loan recovery agent of a finance company on Wednesday near Patraguda bridge by two masked men who came on a motorcycle.
The accused persons have been identified as Gupta Harijan (25), Barun Harijan (25) and Jagdish Harijan.
Police has seized Rs 66,500 in cash, one bike, one tablet and three mobile phones from their possession.
The three accused persons have been forwarded to court.
“Two masked men had looted Rs 73,255 cash, one tablet and one biometric machine from a loan recovery agent of Bharat Finance Company. We have arrested three accused persons in this case. They are Gupta Harijan, Barun Harijan and Jagdish Harijan. We have seized Rs 66,500 cash, one biometric machine, one bike, three mobile phones and a tablet from them,” informed Ankit Kumar Verma, SDPO, Jeypore.
