Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Metro Rail project is targeted to be completed by December 2027, informed Housing & Urban Development (H&UD) Minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra in the Odisha Assembly on Tuesday.
Mahapatra in a written reply to a question by Congress MLA from Barabati-Cuttack Sofia Firdous, said that work on the first phase of Odisha government’s metro rail project from Cuttack district’s Trisulia to Bhubaneswar International Airport (BPIA) covering a length of 26 km has commenced.
The project is targeted to be completed by December 2027, Mahapatra added.
