Deogarh: A minor girl was kidnapped by two unidentified bike-borne miscreants today evening near the busy Daily Market Chowk of Deogarh town.
According to reports, the 5-year-old girl, daughter of a renowned cloth merchant of the town was kidnapped by two unidentified miscreants who came riding a black motorcycle.
The minor girl, who was returning home accompanied by her grandmother after attending tuition at around 6.30 PM was kidnapped from in front of her house near the busy Daily Market area of the town.
The kidnappers pushed the minor girl’s grandmother aside before leaving the spot with the kid on the motorcycle.
After lodging a complaint by the family of the minor girl at the Deogarh Model police station, police have launched an investigation into the matter.
Police are examining CCTV footage of shops and establishments near the crime spot apart from blocking roads for checking at several places to nab the culprits.
