Brothers Held For Duping Job Aspirants Of Rs 10.50 Lakh

Cuttack: Manglabag police arrested two brothers on charges of duping job aspirants on the pretext of giving them jobs at SCB Medical College and Hospital.

As per reports, the accused brothers have been identified as Harpreet Mohanty and Arajit Mohanty. Harpreet and Arajit are alleged to have duped several job aspirants of Rs 10.50 lakh.

The accused posed as job consultants and promised the job seekers to give them jobs in various government agencies, including the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

Police seized Rs 10,000 in cash, a hard disk, a car, a scooter, and some fake job appointment letters from the possession of the accused. Further investigation is underway to determine if anyone else was involved in the scam.
