Bhubaneswar: In a major step towards judicial reforms, the Odisha Cabinet has approved the formulation of a comprehensive new set of Rules for the appointment, regularization, and service conditions of Court Managers in the High Court and District Courts.
The decision was taken in view of the directions issued by the Supreme Court of India. The new Rules aim to bring clarity and uniformity in the functioning of Court Managers across the state’s judicial system.
The move will facilitate the regularization of services of existing Court Managers and lay down clear guidelines for their recruitment and service conditions. This is expected to significantly enhance the administrative efficiency of the Principal District Judges by providing them with professionally trained managerial support in day-to-day court administration.
