Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him the ‘longest-serving continuously elected Prime Minister’ and ‘great charioteer of the faith, pride, rise of crores of Indians’ and the unique architect of modern India.
In a post on X, CM Majhi extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on behalf of Odisha’s more than four crore brothers and sisters” to the Prime Minister.
“Your historic success is not merely a chapter of your tenure, but rather a recognition of your Himalayan-like unwavering resolve, life of sacrifice, visionary leadership, and unparalleled penance in nation-building,” Majhi wrote.
He said the PM’s ‘ceaseless great yajna’ of viewing public service as service to God has elevated India to the position of a supreme, secure, and self-respecting global power.
Majhi praised the ‘new current of national security, welfare of the poor, and prosperity’ under Modi’s leadership, calling it ‘praiseworthy and truly remarkable’.
The Chief Minister ended his post by praying at the ‘lotus feet of Lord Shree Jagannath for Modi’s long, healthy, and disease-free life.
