Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government will disburse financial assistance under the ‘CM-KISAN’ (Rabi 2026-27) scheme on Friday. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will hand over the assistance at a special ceremony at OUAT Krishi Shiksha Sadan in Bhubaneswar.
More than 41 lakh small, marginal, Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG) and landless farmer families of the state will be directly benefited under the scheme.A total of over Rs 833 crore will be transferred directly to beneficiaries’ bank accounts through DBT, aiming to make farmers financially self-reliant and encourage agricultural activities.
Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and other dignitaries will attend the state-level programme. Other ministers will participate in district-level programmes and distribute CM-KISAN installments.
