Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will take a holy dip at Triveni Sangam on Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. He will embark on a 3-day visit to Uttar Pradesh from Sunday, during which he will visit the Sangam and later pay his respects at the Ram Lalla temple in Ayodhya.
The Mahakumbh-2025 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, has reached its final stage, with over 55 crore devotees having taken a holy dip since January 13. The event, which has been attended by President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Chief Ministers of various states, will conclude on February 26.
Foreign devotees are also participating in the Kumbh Mela, taking dips in the sacred waters. Earlier, Chief Minister Majhi had taken a dip in the Makar Sangam at Baitarani on January 14, visiting the Anasuya Teerth Ghat on the Baitarani River in Keonjhar district.
