Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police has arrested the mastermind of the KBN gang whose activities had caused an atmosphere of fear among the citizens of the capital city.
The mastermind Bubu Jena was nabbed by Nayapalli Police from Delta Square area of the city. A sword was seized from his possession.
The Commissionerate Police had launched a manhunt to nab the members of the KBN gang after two videos, in which the gang members were seen to be indulging in violence and consuming intoxicants on the city roads, surfaced on social media.
The police had conducted searches at the houses of the gang’s members including that of Bubu Jena at Gandamunda. Cases have reportedly been registered against 29 members of this self-styled KBN group.
