Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has approved a detailed project report (DPR) worth Rs 71.19 crore to develop Debrigarh Wildlife Sanctuary as an international ecotourism destination, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said in an X post.
He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, and State Forest, Environment, and Climate Change Minister Ganesh Ram Singh Khuntia for this initiative.
Pradhan stated that the decision will promote the natural beauty of Debrigarh at the international level and contribute to wildlife conservation. The ecotourism project is expected to boost local employment and tourism.

Pradhan added that the decision will showcase the natural beauty of Debrigarh sanctuary to the world and support wildlife conservation, giving a boost to local employment and tourism.
