Elderly Man Dies After Being Attacked By Bull In Nayagarh

Bhubaneswar: An 81-year-old man was killed after being attacked by a bull at Dahanga grampanchayat under Dasapalla block in Nayagarh district.

The incident took place on Tuesday morning near a pond at Malisahi area on village premises.

According to reports, the victim, identified as Bauria Rana, was on his way to the pond for his daily routine when the bull suddenly attacked him. Rana sustained severe injuries and died on the spot.

Finding him lying unconsciously, his family members rushed Rana to the Dasapalla Community Health Centre (CHC), where the doctor declared him dead.

The news of Rana’s death has sent shockwaves in the village.
