Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday appointed Governor of Mizoram Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati as Governor of Odisha.
Murmu has accepted the resignation of Raghubar Das as Governor of Odisha.
According to an official press communique issued by the President’s Secretariat, General (Dr) Vijay Kumar Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM (Retd.) has appointed as Governor of Mizoram.
Similarly, Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Governor of Bihar has been appointed as Governor of Kerala.
Besides, Arif Mohammed Khan, Governor of Kerala has been appointed as Governor of Bihar.
Further, Ajay Kumar Bhalla has been appointed as Governor of Manipur.
The above appointments will take effect from the dates they will assume charge of their respective offices, the communique added.
