Kutra Block In Sundargarh District Records Highest Rainfall In Odisha In Last 24 Hours

Bhubaneswar: Kutra block in Sundargarh district of Odisha received the highest rainfall of 147.4 mm in the state during the last 24 hours against the average rainfall 0f 38.0 mm in the state during the period.

The average rainfall recorded in the state from 01.08.2023 to 03.08.2023 is 147.5 mm against the August monthly average of 356.0 mm.

Eleven blocks in Odisha recorded more than 100 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours and they are Narasinghpur in Cuttack district- 102.0 mm, Dharakote in Ganjam district – 122.0 mm, Karlamunda in Kalahandi district – 110.0 mm, Binika and Birmaharajapur in Sonepur district – 139.0 mm and 104.5 mm respectively, Kutra, Bisra, Kuarmunda, Rajgangpur, Bargaon and Lephripara in Sundargarh district – 195.4 mm, 191.2 mm, 175.2 mm, 157.3 mm, 154.6 mm, and 122.8 mm respectively.
