Licensed Stamp Vendors’ Commission Hiked

Bhubaneswar: The licensed stamp vendors engaged as Authorized Collection Centre (ACC) under e-Stamping system will get commission of 0.85% by the State Government on collection of stamp duty above and over the commission provided by the Stock Holding Corporation on issue of e-stamp papers.
The State Cabinet approved a proposal in this regard to reduce procurement cost of non-judicial stamp papers and introduction of e-stamping,
The Licensed Stamp Vendors are getting about 1% to 4% commission in selling non-judicial stamp papers ranging from Rs.1 to Rs.25000/- denomination of Stamp paper.
