Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for light rain accompanied by light thunderstorms over six districts in Odisha during the next three hours.
According to the alert issued at 07:10 am today, light rain and thunderstorms are very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jagatsinghpur, Kataka, Jajpur, Puri, Deogarh and Angul.
While the expected rainfall is light, the IMD has advised residents in these areas to remain vigilant and keep a close watch on the weather for any worsening conditions. People are urged to plan their daily activities accordingly and take necessary precautions for safety, especially those engaged in outdoor work, travel, or farming.
