Light Rain Likely In Some Odisha Dists; Dry Weather To Prevail Elsewhere

Bhubaneswar: The regional center of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar on Sunday forecast light to moderate rain/thundershower in one or two places over the districts of coastal

Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, and Malkangiri. The weather in the remaining districts will remain dry.

There is unlikely to be any major change in the minimum temperature (night temperature) during the next two days and a gradual fall by 3°C-4°C thereafter at many places of Odisha. The highest maximum temperature of 35.5°C was recorded at Titlagarh and the lowest minimum temperature of 18.5°C was recorded at Phulbani and Boudh during the last 24 hours in the plains of Odisha.

Weather forecast and warning for districts of Odisha:

Day 1: (Valid up to 0830 hrs IST of 06.11.2023)

Light to moderate rain/ thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of coastal Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nawarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the remaining districts of Odisha.

Day 2: (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 06.10.2023 to 0830 hrs IST of 07.11.2023)

Light to moderate rain/ thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of south coastal Odisha, Koraput, Rayagada, and Malkangiri, and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.

Day 3: (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 07.11.2023 to 0830 hrs

Light to moderate rain/ thundershower is very likely to occur in one or two places over the districts of Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, and Malkangiri, and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest of Odisha.

Day 4: (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 08.11.2023 to 0830 hrs IST of 09.11.2023)

Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.

Day 5: (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 09.11.2023 to 0830 hrs IST of 10.11.2023)

Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.

Day 6: (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 10.11.2023 to 0830 hrs IST of 11.11.2023)

Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.

Day 7: (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 11.11.2023 to 0830 hrs IST of 12.11.2023)

Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.
