Man And Nephew Killed In Hit-And-Run Accident In Kalahandi

Bhubaneswar: A person and his nephew were killed after being hit by a speeding pick-up van at Budipadar Square under Junagarh police limits in Kalahandi district.

The deceased have been identified as Mukesh Nag (18) of Chikli village under Junagarh block and his nephew Mahendra Naik (13) of Matigaon village.

The incident occurred when the two were riding a motorcycle (OD-08-BV-7112) towards Junagarh. At

As per reports, the pickup van reportedly rammed into the bike they were travelling in and as a result both uncle and nephew died on the spot. After the accident, the pickup van fled the scene.

On receiving information, Junagarh police reached the spot, recovered the bodies, and sent them for post-mortem.
