Keonjhar: A person died due to electrocution while trying to save his niece from being electrocuted at Chinamalipashi village under Ghatgaon police station in Keonjhar district on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Duryodhan Behera. Duryodhan’s niece Anjali and his brother Dusasana were seriously injured in the freak and were rushed to Patna Community Health Centre.
According to reports, Anjali was drying clothes on a wire outside her home when she came into contact with a live electric wire.
Duryodhan and Dusasana rushed to her aid to save her. In the process, Durodhan died while Anjali and Dusasana received severe injuries and are undergoing treatment.
