Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has completed the re-evaluation of answer sheets for the 2026 Matriculation examination much ahead of the scheduled timeline.
According to sources, more than 3,300 students had applied for re-checking of their answer sheets. As many students applied for multiple subjects, over 9,000 answer sheets were re-evaluated by teachers at the Board office.
The revised marks will be updated and fresh digital certificates will be issued after publication. Students will be able to download their updated digital certificates directly from the Board’s official website. The re-checking results are scheduled to be uploaded on the BSE Odisha website on June 19.
Meanwhile, the Board has expedited the process because the last date for Plus II course admissions is June 30. BSE wanted to ensure that students who benefited from mark improvements can apply for higher studies without any delay. In previous years, many students missed out on admission benefits because re-checking results were declared after the Plus II admission deadline.
It is learnt that the Matric Supplementary Examination 2026 is scheduled to be held from July 2 to July 10.
