Mother, Son Electrocuted In Deogarh Village

Deogarh: A woman and her minor son were electrocuted in Kamarpal village under Kundheigola police station limits in Deogarh district on Monday.

The deceased have been identified as Upabashi Bhutia (45) and her son Manpreet Bhutia (7).

According to reports, the incident occurred when an electric water pump, being used for watering a garden inside their house, came into contact with a live wire, resulting in a severe electric shock.

Both were found unconscious at the spot by family members, who immediately rescued them and rushed them to the Kundheigola Community Health Centre (CHC). However, doctors declared them brought dead on arrival.

On being informed, Kundheigola police reached the spot and initiated an investigation into the incident.
