Nine Odisha Districts Likely To Face Thunderstorm & Lightning In Next Three Hours

Bhubaneswar: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert warning of light rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning in nine districts of Odisha within the next three years.

According to the IMD bulletin, districts such as Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, and Rayagada will be affected by light rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning.

Residents in these districts are advised to remain vigilant and be prepared to move to safer locations to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
