Bhubaneswar: A team of BJP leaders today visited the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri to invite Lord Jagannath for the oath-taking ceremony of the new BJP government.

A delegation of the BJP comprising newly-elected MLAs Pravati Parida, Prithviraj Harichandan, Ashrit Pattanayak and Irasis Acharya offered a letter of invitation to the deities as a mark of formal invitation for the grand celebration.

We have been entrusted with a huge responsibility by the blessings of Lord Jagannath. We sought Lord’s blessings to take the state in the right direction.  We also sought His blessings for those who are going to take oath tomorrow,” said newly-elected Chilika MLA Prithviraj Harichandan.
