Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘12 years of seva’, stating that the PM has scripted a ‘new golden chapter in the history of the Indian Republic’ after taking oath for a third consecutive term in on this day in 2024.
Majhi was referring to PM Modi’s oath-taking on June 9, 2024, as the Prime Minister for a third straight term.
In a post on X, CM Majhi said PM Modi’s visionary leadership over the past 12 years has transformed governance into a ‘powerful instrument of public welfare’ that delivered development benefits “even to individuals at the grassroots levels of society.
“Inspired by the mantra of ‘Seva Paramo Dharma’, this glorious journey of #12YearsOfSeva has empowered the poor and deprived, ensured unassailable national security, ushered in pathbreaking reforms, accelerated infrastructure development, and established India as a prosperous nation on the global map through digital revolution,” Majhi wrote.
Referring to the national goal of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047,’ the Chief Minister added that the successes of the last 12 years “stand as testament to our unwavering commitment to all-round development and a ‘Nation First’ governance system.”
