Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Uniformed Services Staff Selection Commission (OUSSSC) on Saturday said it has initiated the recruitment process for constable-level posts under the Odisha Police and other departments, while steps are also being taken on priority to expedite the Combined Police Services Examination (CPSE)-2024.
In a press note, the commission said a detailed advertisement for recruitment to constable-level posts will be issued shortly. The advertisement will contain details regarding vacancies, eligibility criteria, selection process and other relevant conditions.
The OUSSSC also said necessary preparations are underway to expedite the examination process for CPSE-2024, for which applications have already been received.
The commission acknowledged the considerable interest and apprehension among candidates regarding the recruitment and examination process and assured them that all necessary measures are being taken to conduct the examinations smoothly, fairly, transparently and securely in accordance with prescribed rules and procedures.
Candidates who have already applied for CPSE-2024 have been advised to remain prepared for the examination and regularly follow official communications from the commission.
The OUSSSC said important information, including the examination schedule and other necessary instructions, will be communicated through authorised official channels and its website, which will be made live shortly.
The commission urged candidates to remain alert, continue their preparation and await official announcements. It said concerted efforts were being made to advance the recruitment and examination processes at the earliest while safeguarding candidates’ interests and maintaining the sanctity of the examination process.
