Bhubaneswar: As per the direction of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, 5T and Nabin Odisha chairman Kartik Pandian visited two important temples of Khordha district in the early hours at 05.30 AM today.
Pandian reviewed the progress of Development of Maa Barunei Temple at Khordha. He discussed with the Secretary of Works Department and Khordha Collector regarding further development of pilgrim amenities.
He later visited Kapileshwar Temple in Bhubaneswar and reviewed the development aspects of the temple. He assured the temple management committee, sebayats and devotees that holistic development of the temple would be taken up soon, in consultation with ASI. He asked Collector to discuss in detail with the Temple committee and Sebayats and prepare a master plan for the development of the temple and surrounding areas.
He discussed with the Secretary of Works Department regarding the 2 km long road project from NH 316 (Near Gangua Nala) to Kapileswar Temple. This road is being constructed at a total cost of Rs 50 cr including Rs 30 cr for land acquisition. He directed the Collector to expedite the land acquisition process.
