Bargarh: Police on Sunday seized 2,160 bottles of cough syrup from an auto-rickshaw near Bargarh farmers’ market in Odisha. Burgh Town police also arrested two persons in this connection.
Bargarh Additional SP TK Mahanty informed that the accused were Ganesh Nag and Sambhu Luhan of Ward No. 19 in Railway Station Padra under Bargarh Town police limits.
Four plastic jars, 2,160 bottles of cough syrup, two strips of Nitrosene-10, 15 plastic glasses, one mobile phone, and an auto-rickshaw were seized. The police have launched an investigation into the crime and are interrogating the arrested accused.
