Bhubaneswar: Senior Congress leader and MP MP Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit Odisha on February 6 as part of his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. He will be given a rousing welcome by party leaders at Birmitrapur on February 6 evening, PCC president Sarat Patnaik informed.
He said, “Rahul Gandhi will reach Birmitrapur on the evening of February 6.” He will be welcomed there. He is scheduled to hold Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in three organisational districts in Odisha-Rourkela, Sundergarh and Jharsuguda on February 7 and 8, the PCC chief added.
Gandhi will hold a road show in Rourkela. He will spend night in Jharsuguda on February 7, Patnaik added.
After the programme of Rahul Gandhi, other AICC leaders are scheduled to visit Odisha later, PCC president informed.
The programme details will be finalised today, he added.
Earlier, party’s general secretary in-charge (communications), Jairam Ramesh had shared a route map of Gandhi’s Yatra in Odisha. As per the route map, he is scheduled to cover 341 km in four districts of Odisha.
