Bhubaneswar: The repolling in two booths of the Kantamal assembly segment under the Kandhamal Lok Sabha constituency concluded peacefully on Thursday.

The repolling was conducted in booth No 26 and Booth No 28 under Kantamala Assembly constituency as per the direction of the Election Commission of India (ECI).

Elaborate security arrangements were made for the two booths, an official said

The voting commenced at 7 am at booth numbers 26 and 28 of the assembly seat and continued till 4 pm.

“Repolling has been peaceful,” an official statement said.

Two magistrates were deployed on the spot to ensure free and fair elections.
