Bhubaneswar: In a major organisational reshuffle, BJP national president Nitin Nabin on Thursday appointed the party’s joint general secretaries (organisation) as in-charge of various state units, including Odisha.
According to a notification issued by the BJP, national joint general secretary (organisation) Saudan Singh has been assigned the charge of Odisha along with Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. He will oversee organisational affairs in these four eastern states.
Similarly, national joint general secretary (organisation) Shivprakash will be in-charge of organisational affairs in Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Goa. BJP national sangathak V Satish will take charge of organisational affairs in the party’s SC and ST morchas.
He has also been made the in-charge of the party’s Parliament office. The appointments come ahead of the crucial assembly elections in several states, party sources said.
