Bhubaneswar: Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has once again used his creative canvas — the golden sands of Puri Beach to celebrate women’s empowerment in India.
Pattnaik created a special sand sculpture highlighting the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, describing it as a historic step towards strengthening Indian democracy and women’s participation in governance. The artwork carries a powerful message: “An empowered woman is the foundation of an empowered India.”
In his statement, the Pattnaik said, “Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, the Nari Shakti Vandan Act marks a historic milestone for women’s empowerment. My sand sculpture at Puri Beach celebrates the spirit of Nari Shakti.”
The sculpture, created at Niladri Beach, has drawn widespread appreciation for beautifully blending art with a strong social and political message. It aims to highlight the significance of greater women’s representation in legislatures and the transformative power of women in nation-building.
