Bhubaneswar: A teenager committed suicide due to loss of lakhs of rupees by playing an online game. The deceased, was 19-year-old Udaya Kumar Behera of Guda village under Soro police station.
According to the information, the Behera was studying in the second year of graduation at Basudevpur’s AB College. He had come home two days back and used to play an online game.
Udaya was often under stress as he lost lakhs of rupees while playing the game. He ended his life by hanging self from the fan and his mother was the first to spot Udaya in the morning.
Villagers and relatives retrieved him and rushed Udaya to Soro hospital where he was declared dead. Soro police registered a case of unnatural death in this connection and investigating further.
