Boudh: Two persons were killed, while another sustained critical injuries after an unidentified vehicle hit a motorbike near Khajuripada Chakk under Boudh police limits on National Highway No 57 in Odisha’s Boudh district on Sunday.
The two deceased have been identified as Vighneshwar Mahar and Omkar Sethi of Karunapali village under Sarsara panchayat, while the condition of Himanshu Sethi of Shyamsunderpur village is said to be critical.
According to reports, the three youths were going by a motorcycle to attend a wedding ceremony when an unidentified vehicle hit them and fled the spot. Vighneshwar and Omkar were killed on the spot. Locals rescued Himanshu Sethi and admitted him to Boudh District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) where is condition is said to be critical.
On being informed, Boudh police reached the spot and launched an investigation into the incident.
