Bhadrak: In an unusual incident reported from Basudevpur in Bhadrak district, a young man, who was bitten by a venomous snake, took it with him to the hospital for treatment.
According to reports, the incident involved Bijay Jena, who was bitten by a poisonous snake. Showing remarkable presence of mind, he managed to catch the snake and put it inside a box. He then reached Basudevpur Hospital with the snake for treatment.
After receiving primary medical attention at Basudevpur, he was referred to the Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital. Remarkably, Bijay walked into the district hospital carrying the snake with him. Hospital staff and people present were left astonished upon seeing the live snake that had bitten him.
Doctors at the Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital have informed that Bijay is currently in stable condition and is undergoing treatment under observation.
The unusual courage and presence of mind shown by the youth in catching the snake that bit him and bringing it to the hospital has left many surprised.
