Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Class 12 board examination results for the academic session 2025–26 on Wednesday (May 13, 2026), recording an overall pass percentage of 85.20.
Students who appeared for the examination can now access and download their marksheets from the official website, results.cbse.nic.in.
This year’s results show a decline in performance compared to the previous year. A total of 17,80,365 students registered for the Class 12 examination, of whom 17,68,968 appeared and 15,07,109 cleared the exam. The pass percentage stands at 85.20, down by 3.19 percentage points from last year’s 88.39 per cent.
In 2025, 14,96,307 students passed the examination, reflecting comparatively better overall performance than this year’s outcome.
Candidates can also check their results through the official websites cbse.gov.in, results.nic.in, results.digilocker.gov.in, and umang.gov.in, as well as the DigiLocker and UMANG mobile applications, according to an official press release.
