Bhubaneswar: As many as nine woman cops sustained injuries as the bus they were travelling in met with a road mishap near Satsang Vihar Park in Bhubaneswar, on Tuesday.
According to sources, the cops were going to Kendrapara for election duty when the accident took place. All the injured woman cops were rescued and rushed to Capital Hospital for treatment.
The bus was carrying 35 woman cops of which nine cops received injuries. They were going to Kendrapara from Bolangir
It may be mentioned that Kendrapara is going to poll on June 1.
