Soro MLA Parsuram Dhada Quits BJD

Balasore: Soro MLA Parsuram Dhada resigned from the primary membership of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) today evening.

Parsuram Dhada sent his resignation to BJD president Naveen Patnaik soon after the latter announced Madhav Dhada as the party’s candidate for Soro Assembly Constituency.

“I am resigning from the primary membership of BJD. I had the opportunity to serve the people of Soro for the last ten years. During this period I have made efforts for the development of my area. But I have been sidelined by the party. I will surely contest in the elections. I will contest the election after taking the opinion of the people, my supporters and well-wishers,” said Parsuram Dhada speaking to reporters at Soro.
