Bhubaneswar: In view of the upcoming Utkarsh Odisha – Make in Odisha Conclave 2025, set to begin tomorrow, the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Commissionerate Police has announced a series of traffic restrictions ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit.
The measures, implemented in the interest of security for the VVIP and to ensure smooth and free-flowing traffic, will affect several key routes in the city.
The public is advised to take note of the following traffic restrictions, which will be in place during the specified times:
Traffic Restrictions for January 28, 2025:
From 10:25 am to 11:10 am:
- Airport Square
- Hospital Square
- AG Square
- Left Turn – Raj Bhavan Square
- Power House Square
- 120 Bn Square
- Shastri Nagar
- Behera Sahi Square
- Jaydev Vihar Square
- Xavier Square
- Nalco Square
From 12:20 pm to 1:05 pm:
- Nalco Square
- Xavier Square
- Jaydev Vihar
- Behera Sahi Square
- Shastri Nagar Square
- 120 Bn Square
- Power House Square
- Raj Bhavan Square (Left Turn)
- AG Square (Right Turn)
- Hospital Square
- Airport Square
These restrictions will not apply to emergency vehicles such as fire engines and ambulances.
The public is requested to plan their routes accordingly to avoid inconvenience during the restricted hours.
For smooth traffic movement and public safety, the Commissionerate Police urges everyone to cooperate.
