Two Killed, 2 Injured In Road Mishap In Jajpur

Jajpur: Two persons were killed and an equal number were injured on Monday in a road mishap on National Highway 16 near Mulapal Chhak under Kuakhia police limits in Jajpur district.

The injured persons have been rushed to the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Madhuban.

According to reports, a truck after hitting a dumper near Mulapal Chhak lost balance and rammed into a pick-up van kept on the roadside killing two on the spot and injuring another two.

Kuakhia police have detained the driver of the errant truck and launched an investigation into the matter.
