Subarnapur: Two youths were killed and one injured in separate road accidents in Odisha’s Subarnapur district during the last 24 hours.
In the first incident, a biker lost balance of his vehicle and crashed into a tree killing him on the spot at Gilgudi road under Ulunda police limits. The deceased youth was identified as Vikas Jagadala of Daldba village under Ulunda police limits.
According to reports, Vikas had gone out for some work on Sunday and crashed against a tree while returning home at night. On Monday morning, local villagers spotted his body and informed the police.
In another incident, a biker died and the pillion rider injured when their two-wheeler rammed against a car near Ganeshpur village under Binika police station of Subarnapur district on Sunday night.
The deceased has been identified as Tankadhar Naik of Ghudkatikra village under Burla police limits, while Sushant Jagdala of Bhangkud village in Bargarh district sustained injuries in the accident and has been admitted to hospital.
