Sundergarh:  A woman attempted suicide by overdosing on paracetamol tablets outside a courtroom in Sundergarh today.

The incident occurred after the court delivered a verdict against her in a rape case involving the woman. She was rushed to Sundergarh Hospital and is currently in critical condition.

The woman had previously been arrested and released on bail in connection with the murder of her husband in 2021. She had committed the murder after being instigated by her male friend identified as Ashwini Nayak.
