Bhubaneswar: The body of a young man was recovered from under the Khandagiri Hills in Bhubaneswar. He has been identified as Manoj Kumar Gouda, a resident of Tapoban slum, was found wearing a sports outfit.
Police primary investigation suggested that he may have been murdered as his body bore wounds.
Locals stumbled upon the body on Friday morning and informed the police who retrieved the body and sent it for autopsy to determine the cause of death. While investigations are underway, the motive behind the death remains unclear.
The Bharatpur police launched an inquiry, examining CCTV footage in the area and questioning local residents.
