Bhubaneswar: In view of the prevailing severe heatwave conditions across Deogarh district, the district administration has ordered the closure of all schools up to Class X until June 20, 2026.
According to an official order issued by the District Education Office, all schools from primary to Class X shall remain closed to protect students from extreme heat. However, examinations scheduled during this period will continue as per the existing timetable.
The administration has advised conducting exams in the morning hours to avoid peak heat exposure. The order further directs all heads of educational institutions to ensure adequate availability of safe drinking water and implement necessary precautionary measures against heatwaves for both students and staff.
