Bus Stolen

Bhubaneswar: A brazen theft occurred at Bhanjanagar bus stand in Ganjam district, where thieves made off with a private bus named Maa Durga.

The bus key was conveniently left inside, making it an easy target. The owner discovered the theft on the morning of November 7 and verified the CCTV footage, confirming the theft. A complaint was filed at Bhanjnagar police station, based on which police registered a case and launched an investigation with examining the CCTV footages.

In a surprising twist, police intercepted the stolen bus on the national highway near Chhatrapur in the same district. While the bus has been recovered, the motives behind the theft and the identities miscreants remain unclear. The investigation is underway.
